About the Author

Christine Davis is the author and illustrator of five magical books for animal lovers—For Every Dog An Angel, For Every Cat An Angel, Forever Paws, The Shelter Dog and Old Dog and the Christmas Wish. She was surrounded by dogs ever since she was a little girl growing up in New York City. Chris never knew she’d become a writer until one day, after the devastating loss of her dog, Martha, she saw an angel in the sky holding Martha in her arms. A year later, she heard a story being told to her and was even given the title — For Every Dog An Angel. She knew immediately the cover art would be an angel holding a dog. That was the first of several books she’d write for animal lovers. Her love for critters extends to the wildlife in the woods near her home. Chris is learning to speak “raccoon” so she can thank all the lovely masked bandits who enchant her with their visits!
